Author Guideline

1. Scope and Article Types

The Journal considers manuscripts in applied mathematics, statistics, probability, statistical computing, numerical methods, optimisation, mathematical modelling, simulation, computational statistics, data analysis, and related interdisciplinary applications. Accepted article types should be listed on the website, for example original research, methodological papers, review articles, and short communications.

2. Originality and Submission Conditions

Submission confirms that the manuscript is original, approved by all authors, and not under consideration elsewhere. Disclose related or overlapping work in the cover letter. Preprints and conference versions must be declared with links or citations where available and handled according to the Journal’s stated policy.

3. Manuscript Structure

Research articles should include: (1) informative title; (2) author names, affiliations and corresponding-author email; (3) abstract; (4) 4–6 keywords; (5) introduction; (6) mathematical or methodological framework, notation, assumptions and proofs as applicable; (7) data and computational methods; (8) results and discussion; (9) conclusion and limitations; (10) declarations; and (11) references and supplementary material. 4. Equations, Notation, and Proofs

Use notation consistently and define symbols at first use. Number equations consecutively when referenced. Clearly label theorem, lemma, proposition, corollary, definition, and proof environments. Proofs must be logically complete, and required assumptions explicitly stated. Distinguish conjectures, numerical evidence, and proven results.

5. Tables, Figures, and Supplementary Files

Number all tables and figures and cite them in the text. Provide informative captions; make axes, units, symbols, and colour scales clear. Figures must be legible and must not be manipulated to misrepresent evidence. Name supplementary files clearly and refer to them in the manuscript. Secure permissions for third-party material.

6. References

Use the Journal’s specified style: [insert reference style or provide a template]. Every in-text citation should correspond to a reference-list entry and vice versa, as required by the style. Verify author names, titles, publication details, page ranges, and DOIs. Cite original sources where possible; avoid irrelevant or excessive self-citation. Check all references, including any suggested or AI-assisted citations.

8. Declarations and Supporting Documents

Include all applicable declarations in Section 2. The Journal may request a cover letter, contribution statement, conflict declaration, ethics approval, permission letters, source data, code, or supplementary files. For double-blind review, remove author names, acknowledgements, institutional clues, and identifying metadata from the review manuscript where practicable.

9. Cover Letter

State the manuscript title and article type, explain the contribution and fit with the Journal, confirm approval by all authors and that the manuscript is not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere, and disclose related manuscripts, preprints, conference versions, or overlap. Mention relevant circumstances for the editor.

10. Submission Process

Submit via [insert submission platform or official email] and follow file-format and naming instructions. Keep a copy of submitted files and correspondence. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating editorial decisions and requests to all co-authors.

11. Revisions and Proofs

Respond to comments point by point and explain any suggestion not adopted. Identify revisions accurately. Check proofs carefully for mathematical notation, equations, tables, figures, author names, affiliations, references, and declarations. Proof correction is not an opportunity to introduce substantial new results or change authorship without approval.

12. Fees and Waivers

State whether submission fees, article processing charges, page charges, colour charges, or other fees apply, when payable, and whether waivers or discounts are available. 13. After Publication

Authors should promptly notify the Journal of material errors and cooperate with reasonable investigations. Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions will be handled under the Editorial Policy and Publication Ethics Policy.

14. Submission Checklist

Before submission, confirm that: the manuscript fits the scope; the template and structure are followed; all authors approve the version and order; simultaneous submission is not occurring; related work and preprints are disclosed; mathematical, statistical, computational results and references have been checked; figures, tables, code and data are labelled; permissions are secured; declarations are complete; the manuscript is anonymised if required; and the cover letter and supporting documents are included.
